RESEARCH AWARENESS DAY

Presented by Aman Johal & Peter Zeh

dementia patient receiving care at Whitestone Surgery

The Primary Care Research Network presented a number of research trials that are being conducted at Whitestone Surgery. Research is a core part of the NHS. Research enables the NHS to improve the current and future health of the people it serves. Two new trials are: DAPA – Dementia and Physical Assessment and TIME – assessing the best time to take blood pressure medication. Important links were made with WS-PPG organisers for the Carer’s Cafe. A new initiative creating community support for carers of patients with dementia.
